DEVILCANDY was created by and is ran by me, Creepincrawl! (But you can call me Creeps!)

I was born in the Chicagoland area, but I now reside in Texas. After being diagnosed with dermatomyositis (a debilitating autoimmune disorder) in late 2022, I was a lot closer to death than me and my family realized. But since then I have made quite the turnaround thanks to aggressive treatment!

Living through that really taught me to appreciate everything that I can, while I can, even the most mundane of things. I realized how badly I needed to develop and share my art with the world, because who knows when I wouldn't be able to anymore?

It's because of this that my carefully curated art style is so personal to my whole being. Art was the biggest thing keeping me tied down to the world during a time where my body was so weak I couldn't even stand up on my own.

I can say now that I have gotten my style to a place that I am confident and content with, though I am constantly exploring new avenues with my art every day! I love trying to meld together the clash between soft/cute and sharp y2k aesthetics, for lack of a better descriptor. My whole life truly runs on color pop and stylized character designs.

I've been designing and illustrating all my life, and I truly can't imagine doing anything else. I hope you all will enjoy my characters, worlds, and of course- the merchandise I make featuring them! I truly can't wait to share it all with you.
